About me

"Theatre was always my passion." -Stephen Moyer

I am an artist.

I am imaginative.

I am passionate.

I am a force to be reckoned with.

I have direction and drive and the desire to create a new world out of nothing. I love collaborating with people and trying new things. I live for the challenge and the sense of pride when the lights go up on opening night.

I have participated in theatrical productions since I was small. In fact, I can't really remember a time in my life when I wasn't performing or participating in a production. I was introduced to the technical world during high school and was one of the few people that could work lights, sound, and rigging for our stage. I still spent some time acting, but more often than not I would be a props master or a stage manager. I have continued my work and study at the University of Oregon, although my focus is mainly in Directing and Scenic Painting.

Over the past few summers I have worked at a non-profit theatre camp called Oregon Conservatory of Performing Arts as a "kid wrangler," teaching children how to sing, dance, and memorize lines at the same time. As the years progressed I moved up to Assistant Stage Manager, Stage Manager, and even Assistant Director this past year. I have also adopted many other jobs while working with OCPA, including face painting, props making, and scenic design.

Theatre is my life and my passion and I am good at it. There is always something to learn in the field and it is my goal to spend the rest of my life learning and doing what I love.
