The Moore House

The Moore House

This was based off of 1960's kitchen/dining room images with a color palate straight from the directors. The wallpaper is a combination of a scumble and a feather-duster smattering. The windows were already there from a different show But I repainted it with our color scheme. Everything else was experimental shading and perspective.

School Hallway

School Hallway

To break up the monotonous lockers, I added informational posters. The shading was an experiment but it looked good from the audience. The real challenge was making so many straight lines without the proper tools.

School Gym

School Gym

This was my biggest challenge; gyms are so vast without a lot of decoration, making it difficult to find an image that would portray the location to most if not all audience members. The Pterodactyl was a projection that was penciled then painted. The hoops and banner were based off of research images.

Sherwood Forest

Sherwood Forest

This was done in 4 main chunks: I outlined the whole picture based off of a photo I found online and started with the sky, which was a scumble of blue and lighter blue to make clouds. Then I did 3 layers of tree line, 2 layers of dead leaf undergrowth, and a final layer of tree trunks.

Fairgrounds

Fairgrounds

This was a similar process to the forest; skyline, treeline, grass. The sky was a 2 color scumble, the trees were 3 layers of green, and the grass was the same 3 greens as the trees with the middle green as the base instead of the darker. Each blade was individually done by brush, but done in a quick, blending technique.
